Golf Tips

According to a golfer's question, "What is the best weather to play golf?":
A golfer in Canada said: "I'm one of those people who think golf is best played in a long-sleeved sweater. I certainly like summer days too." Perfect without wind, but my favorite days on the golf course are those with a little coolness, a little wind. And importantly, the people on the course are extremely passionate golfers, there to play with love, not to drink beer and sunbathe. Does anyone agree with me? This opinion... Completely agreed upon by the golf community. In Vietnam, climate change is making the weather increasingly harsh. According to the Central Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting Center, this winter in the North will be colder than in previous years. So, will you let the cold weather stop you from playing golf? Let the cold not be your excuse! Here are 5 tips for playing golf in cold weather. Tip #1: Walk instead of Go cycling If you have the choice, choose walking over cycling. You'll be surprised how much walking warms your body. Your muscles will relax, and importantly, your swing will be easier. Tip #2: Keep your hands warm Walking will help warm your body, but it's equally important to keep your hands warm. You can keep a thermal bag in your pocket. Consider wearing gloves. You'll want to make sure your hands are warm so you don't lose control while hitting the ball or lose energy during the game. Tip #3: Keep your golf ball warm A golf ball won't go as far in cold weather. In fact, you'll lose about 2.5-4.5 meters, depending on air density, for every 10 degrees down. So, keep your golf ball in your bag between holes. Tip #4: Layer your clothing This is just as important as anything else, what you wear? You don't want to be so bundled up that you can't even make a good swing. Consider layering your clothing. Depending on how cold the weather is, try a short-sleeved or long-sleeved shirt and then a sweater. And if it's windy, you might want to wear a light puffer jacket. Don't forget a hat; it will keep your ears and most of your face warm. That will help considerably. Tip #5: Be realistic about golf in cold weather Be realistic! Your chances of achieving an average score will increase slightly during the winter months, due to the golf ball not traveling as far, the cold weather, your body becoming stiffer, and many other valid reasons. The important thing is that you still play golf. Your passion for golf is what will keep you on the course.
